Coverage is effective within 48 hours after joining. Payment is due on the 1st of each month. If you join after the 1st of the month you will be prorated for the amount of days you did not use the plan in that month. For example, if you enroll in the plan on the15th day of a 30 day month you will be charged only half of the membership fee. Then on the 1st you will be charged the full amount. If you need dental services immediately you will have full use of the plan within 48 hours of enrollment. (Remember, there are no waiting periods and pre-existing conditions are covered immediately.)
	You will be able to print a temporary membership card right from your own printer which will contain your name and member services phone number. You may not use this temporary card for the vision or prescription discounts.
	Call a participating dentist for an appointment and be sure to mention that you are a member of the CAREINGTON plan. Your permanent card will arrive in about 10 days.
