Dentists from the Forest Lake are teaming up with other dental professionals to offer free services to kids for those families could not afford dental care. The clinic at Dental, 1068 S.Lake Street will take appointments for free dental care on February 2nd this Saturday. This will be the second year that G2 Dental has teamed up with Give Kids a Smile program and the Minnesota Dental Association. Patients, who are seeking for appointments, must be below the age of eighteen accompanied by a legal guardian or their parent. For appointments call 651-464-2248.

The Powhatan Care-A-Van program will be bringing out its new program during this spring which will offer free dental care. The free service will be available to the county residents who don't have dental or medical insurance. Application for the free dental procedures will be available from January 7th, Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Powhatan County Fairgrounds. Interested persons can call up 379-6484 for more information. The Car-A-Van is totally equipped with mobile facilities which is staffed with nurses and doctors who will be providing dental care at the Powhatan County Fairgrounds location once in a month. Once non-profit grade is obtained, the Powhatan Free Clinic will begin to apply for grants and to work with many insurance companies toward a free-standing facility.
