Edison College's program for dental helpers and dental hygienists lately received official approval with praise by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation with out any recommendations for improvements. The review was willingly requested by the college three years previous to its usual accreditation visit in 2009.
"The report by the Commission visiting group commended the leadership and sense as being exemplary," said Dr. Mary Lewis, associate dean of health provider at Edison College in Fort Myers. "This is something the dental plan has worked extremely hard to get together - the leadership team, faculty, and students."
