A dental carry out in Thurso, Caithness, has proclaimed that it would stop treating children on the NHS. The Bridgend Dental Care Centre has written to 650 parents and guardians concerned providing those places as private patients. More than 200 children are thought to influence by the move.
Highlands and Islands MSP Rob Gibson stated the decision can have a unenthusiastic impact on the oral health of the children. NHS Highland stated it had been advised by the dental care centre in Thurso, which the practice was to de-register all of its patients.
