Children of low-income families are more probable to get cavities and less probable to get dental care.
Although dental care is evidently covered under Wisconsin's Medical Assistance plan, the realism is that the reimbursement rate is so low that few dentists are eager to take part. Now a pilot plan for La Crosse County and two other counties, look for show how that could be changed.
