Sunday, May 13, 2007One in four Australians has untreated dental decay and public dental plan has remained "chronically under-funded" for the last decade, a fresh national review of dental health shows. The Federal Government spends about as much on health insurance subsidies for private dental plan, $438 million every year, as the states spend in total on public dental services, about $500 million.
