With the other concerns of seniors - from rising property taxes to getting a ride to the doctor's, would be aired at a public hearing next week at the Pima Council on Aging, charged with assisting tackle those issues locally.
The council, funded by the central Older Americans Act, is necessary every three years to develop an "area plan on aging" to be accepted by the state's Division of Aging and Adult Services.
