Thursday, February 15, 2007Federal Health Minister Tony Abbott stated the Federal Government is not accountable for the long dental waiting lists. He said Parliament state dental funding fell by $47 million among 2000 and 2004. He noted the case of a pensioner from the Gold Coast who wanted three years to have teeth removed during 1994, when Kevin Rudd worked for the Queensland Government.
