Students from the School of Dentistry at The University of Manchester are assisting change the provision of dental care in less rich areas of South Manchester.
The students would work alongside eligible dentists to provide a complete range of treatments free of charge to residents who are not under the dental care of an NHS dentist, on a slot basis.
The outreach scheme would also assist educate the budding dentists, who would work beside skilled practitioners to gain experience of pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and restorative dental treatment.
