Admission is absolutely free to the public. Families can attend and learn how they can live a healthy lifestyle, more choices are available to them and the programs available in the Lincoln City area, said Ginny Whiffed, executive director of the chamber.
Some of the vendor categories include: natural skin-care; fitness; nutrition; preventive health measures; health insurance options; children's activities; Oregon Parks and Recreation programs; dental care and more.
The Tanager Outlet Center is bringing Tangelo, the center mascot, to entertain children at the fair. A free sand pail will be given each day to the first 50 children under 12. There will be other give-away items for attendees.
All adults will be offered a Passport to Family Health which, when signed by each vendor, can be entered into a drawing for "some great door prizes." Pacific Power will be in attendance with a "safety board" showing children how to fly kites safely by staying away from power lines.
The Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce encourages any business with something to offer for a safe and healthy lifestyle or healthy mind / body to give the chamber a call and sign up for the Family Health Fair.
